Pet Policy

All Heritage Hotels & Resorts are pet-friendly hotels except for Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town. Heritage Hotels and Resorts welcomes pets according to our General Policy and the specific Hotel Policies. Be sure to read both policies on which hotels allow pets.

Licensed Service Animals are always welcomed at all of our properties.

We welcome your well-behaved pet at our properties that accept pets (Nativo Lodge in Albuquerque, Lodge at Santa Fe, Hotel St. Francis, Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe, Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, and Esplendor Resort at Rio Rico). We do ask you to carefully review our pet policies.

Non-refundable pet fees do apply at each one of our hotels. Please see the Pet Friendly Section for each hotel's website to review the details.

Pets must be declared during guest registration. Guests who do not register their pet or bring non-approved pets into a guest room will be charged a $150.00 fee.

Pets are not to be left unattended at any time during their stay at the Hotel.

Maid service will be provided only if the pet is crated or removed from the room during service.
Pets must always be on a leash or in a crate while they are in any public or common place within the property.
Pets are not permitted in any of the food and beverage areas or at the pool.
Pet owner must pick up after their pets.

As the registered guest, you are financially responsible for:

Any excessive and/or exceptional cleaning charge at the Hotel, and this includes but is not limited to pet odors and pet stains,
Any injuries to Hotel employees or Hotel guest caused by the pet.

You will be given an opportunity to respond to any noise complaints from other Hotel guests. In the event that you are unable to satisfy this request, you may be asked to leave the property and could be financially responsible for any and all costs associated with appeasing the guest complaints.
